Architectural Office Space15 photos Designing the interior of an architectural office was an amazingly creative process! The client, an architectural firm specializing in bio-medical research facilities, welcomed an out of the box, edgy approach to express a Mid-Century Industrial vibe. This is an open concept studio with key areas planned for team collaboration, meetings, and break out sessions.
This was a great project to collaborate on!
Commercial Offices - Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP18 photos Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP is a leading civil litigation firm, freshly formed by consolidating some of the most well-regarded trial and appellate lawyers in Canada. 6,000 square feet of "as is" office space in Cadillac Fairview's TD Centre was secured with a mandate to move in 2 months. This was a fast-track project requiring precision focused action.
The interiors needed to align with their vision of a vibrant firm, precise, practical, adept, and innovative. With legal partners and associates coming from various firms, consultation, selection and approvals had to be expedited to ensure the client could move with as few interruptions to their work as possible.
To achieve this goal Petroff Design worked with the current floor plan, minimizing demolition, strategically selecting new finishes to co-ordinate with existing materials. Furnishings and finishes were sourced from what was readily available or part of Quick Ship programs.

Bathurst Manor - Mainfloor Renovation11 photos The clients love to host dinners and events but with a family of 5 and ample extended family, their home could feel crowded with it's separate living, dining and kitchen space. It was time to open it up! A previous renovation had meant that not only could the walls be removed, but the ceiling of the main floor could be raised by almost 1 foot.
Warm, earthly tones create a unified and comfortable space where the clients now have ample space to entertain.
Home Office Renovation14 photos The clients, one who works from home full time and the other who works from home often but not all the time, wanted to update their office space in their large home. Wood paneling and shelving made this room feel darker and smaller than it really was, while an abundance of cables and wiring created visual clutter. Focused on creating a wire-free, elegant home office required complex electrical and data re-wiring as well as careful planning.
The adjoining powder room was also renovated. Previously a elongated room with a water closet and barrel vaulted ceiling, this bathroom has been updated to be a more efficient use of space while creating a chic and elegant powder room.
The water closet has been converted to storage for the adjoining office space, foreshortening the powder room to a more comfortable size.
Thornhill Kitchen Redesign8 photos This redesign turned a cramped, dysfunctional outdated kitchen into the hub of the home where family can now congregate and interact in a whole new way.
